The celebration of my friend’s 18th was an alright night. I was worried there would’ve been loads of people who I didn’t know, but excluding me and him, there were only another two, both of whom I’d met before, so it wasn’t that bad.
Highlight of the night: Getting the DJ at a club to play Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up”. Much lulz were had.
The night seemed to be over pretty quickly for me though. I had to leave to catch the last bus home, which was at 23:15, whereas Sean was staying at a friends, so was out partying well into the night. But, I should be going out a bit more in the foreseeable future though: my other good friend turns 18 in a couple of weeks, which would make all of my good friends legal to drink. Yay. My social life should hopefully see a large boost in the coming weeks.
I also had my induction at the Co-Op today. We basically went over the basic procedures and whatnot (fire safety, the under 21 policy showing us around the store, etc). I also learnt I’m starting on Wednesday! I’m in at 11 till around 1 for my training, then I’m in for my first shift from 2 till 6!
I’m working 16 hours a week: 2 till 6 on Wednesdays, 6 till 10 on Thursdays, 1 till 5 on Fridays and 6 till again on Saturdays (Which is a bit shit, since that removes any prospects of socialising on Saturday nights. At least Friday nights are free).
So, should only be a matter of time till I’m rolling in money.
Also, pinch, punch, first of the month!

All right, money and a prosperous social life! That DJ sounds cool.

You know the rules, and so do I!
I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of Rick Astley.
Yay for money
Don’t party too much.

Yay nice one Joey boy!!! I still waiting for a reply from the Co-op but it would be sweet if i get a job there as well…can’t imagine what trouble we’d get into both working there
