Well, I think it was unanimously believed that the smaller sidebar I showed you was much better than the big one I have now. So I’ve now changed over to that. I’ve also added the two new themes - Licorice and Strawnana - for you to use as well. Feedback on the site is also appreciated, as always. What’s good, what’s not so good, what could be improved, what could be added, etc.
I have an eye screening tomorrow. Because of my diabetes, I have to have this procedure done once a year. Apparently, diabetes can cause damage to your eyes in the long run, so these screenings are done obviously to try and catch it early if it does happen.
I have to go to the hospital, and do a standard eye test - read letters from a chart whilst covering one of my eyes, then repeat for the other eye. Then, they need to take photographs of my eyes. So I basically have to sit in front of a MASSIVE camera, my eyeballs no more than a few centimeters from the lens, then they take a couple of photos.
Flash and all.
That’s not nice. Although I’ve gotten a little used to it the past four years, it’s still not a particularly pleasant experience. I was temporarily blinded the first time it happened, and even now, it still leaves me a little dazed and sensitive to light. Stepping outside after I’ve had it done is not nice.
Anyway, that’s all tomorrow, at about 11am. Which means I have to actually get up! And on my first day off of the week as well! Hmph.
